CTI Techtalkers club has a very healthy mix of new and seasoned members. We have new members who joined in the past year, guests almost every week, members who have been with us for several years and members who have been with the club since CTI was chartered in July 2002.

Charter members:
Individuals who were listed on the charter documents submitted to Toastmasters International when the club was formed are known as Charter members. Everyone listed on the charter documents is known as a charter member no matter where their Toastmaster journey takes them. Two of our current members, Darlene and Rosario, are charter members which means they have been members for nearly ten years. Seasoned members:
Thirteen of our members have been with the club for two to nine years: Val, Chris, Kevin, Helen, Kyle, David, Jean Francois, Geetha, Rob, Mahdia, Lynne, Geetha and Mary Jane.
Both our charter members and seasoned members have served in leadership roles within the club and out in the District; mentored new members; competed in contests; and presented some fascinating and entertaining speeches over the years. Some have received Club, Area, Division and District awards for their efforts and all are actively working on their personal goals of improving their communication and leadership skills.

What an enthusiastic and talented membership we have! We learn from observing members as they speak or take on a role, from helping and supporting each other, and from working on our personal goals. We also have a lot of fun. The energy and enthusiasm at the meetings lifts the spirits and brings a smile to our hearts.
